Saturday April 8 (Easter): AM - No junior sailing. PM - Social sail - date & time weather dependent. Check WhatsApp for any change.
Saturday April 15: AM - Junior sailing. PM - Either Sprint or catch up races (TBA)
Saturday April 22: AM - Junior sailing. PM Closing day. Racing details TBA.
Saturday May 6: Prize giving and end of season pot luck dinner. 6.00pm.
Rescue boat assistance: To comply with health and safety we need to have two people on each support boat making a total of four in the afternoon.
Please look at the sailing calendar and chose a day between now and the end of the season that you would like to be on the support boat. When you are rostered on the rescue boat your results for those races will be your average score for that series.
If you know of anyone who could help with the support boats on a regular basis please let John Dement know (dements@xtra.co.nz, 021372168).

At a loose end? Its time to start thinking about how you can grow your sailing knowledge - whether you are a junior parent new to sailing, or if you have been around for some time. Coastguard have a range of online courses from Beginning Boating through to Boatmaster, as well as the Maritime VHF Operator Certificate. For those with more experience YNZ run an online race officer course – even if you are not ready to take on a race officer role you’ll learn a great deal about racing.
