Greetings to all current and past members of the Heretaunga Boating Club. We have celebrated 100 years of sailing off Petone, as one of the oldest sailing clubs in the area. To mark the occasion a centennial committee organized a reunion programme of activities that took place over Wellington's 2006 Anniversary weekend. Details of the celebration, and stories from the weekend will be posted soon - watch this space.
In the meantime, here are the results of the HBC Centennial Regatta which ws held during the celebrations.
It is still possible to get a copy of the Centennial Book. Send an email to Chris Knewstubb. Include the number of books you want, your name, a contact phone number, and your address. Chris will contact you and confirm your order. Don't send any money until the order is confirmed - then send $20 per book. Postage will be an extra $2-00.
